Monica Gary Sr. is a writer, speaker, home church pastor, wife, mother of six, student, and social media minister. More importantly, she is a passionate and grace-filled Jesus follower.
“He has redeemed my life and made me into a passionate follower of Him, no matter the cost. I do not take this honor lightly. This is why I will always write and speak vulnerably, sharing my ongoing testimony as a disciple of Jesus and about my former life which was riddled with sin. I address with conviction the shame that kept me bound in that sin for so long, confronting my shortcomings with the Word and sharing my stories of healing. What I share here is the result of hard, faithful work and most importantly the movement of the Holy Spirit in my life.
This is my way of living out loud.
I want to world to see what God has done, and is still doing, in my life. I seek to uplift and teach those who walk alongside me in this journey, and to share my testimony to those who have yet to call Jesus their Savior.
I am honored to be a sister to all those who seek to live by the Spirit.
I am currently earning my diploma in Theology at the John Leland Center for Theological Studies in Arlington, Va. My home church is our home where I worship, lead, teach and grow alongside my family and others who join us.
My greatest desire is to see every person realize faith and to witness the church in her intended glory, specifically with the breaking down of doctrinal and racial divides.
“So then, brothers, we are not obligated to the flesh to live according to the flesh, for if you live according to the flesh, you are going to die. But if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. All those led by God’s Spirit are God’s sons.”
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for coming alongside me on this journey!”
Your sister in Christ,
